The Ward ~ eerie, creepy, not very scary and a bit cheesy at times..

What do you do when you’re a ward of the local insane asylum and you start seeing ghosts? Not just any ghost, but a psychopathic ghost bent on killing you. Who do you tell? How would you get someone to believe you? Kristen (Amber Heard) is desperately trying to sort out what’s going on, and trying to get Dr. Stringer (Jared Harris) to believe her.

One by one, the ghost of Alice Hudson is killing the other girls in the ward. Kristen’s attempts to escape have failed, and now the ghost is after her. No one will help her. What would you do?

An eerie movie sent in a creepy asylum with a nurse and orderly you quickly learn to hate. Parts of this movie dragged a bit, but some scary fun ensued. The ghost-girl parts were a bit cheesy and the make-up was horrid. The ending was twisted which made the movie something to think about.

If you want some of the surprise jolts and eeriness typical with horror flicks, you will probably like this movie.  Get it, have some fun. It's a John Carpenter movie, that ought to be worth something.
